Developmental Instructor
The Developmental Instructor provides hands-on support to our consumers with developmental disabilities. The Developmental Instructor will record progress toward the achievement of, personal goals and outcomes that are important to each individual. The D.I. will insure that they are following and maintaining the system of services that help to facilitate individual goals and outcomes. The D.I. will also insure that the supporting environment promotes dignity and respect and demonstrates a concern for individual rights and one’s health and well being. Goals are based on strategies to achieve self-determination, privacy and the right to be free of physical, verbal, sexual and psychological abuse, neglect or exploitation to all persons served by this agency. Goals are grossly categorized into one of five categories and all staff persons will be expected to contribute to the achievement of that goal.
